For most of us, there are so few occasions that require Black Tie dress code that we probably don’t have anything sitting around in our wardrobes ready to go. Black tie means formal, traditionally floor-length dresses, or a suitable cocktail-length alternative.

If you have an event in your calendar that calls for Black Tie, I think you might has well take the opportunity to get really dressed up. I try to look for elegant dresses with a show stopping detail- whether it be a striking colour, beautiful embellishment, or something that really makes a statement, like this oversized bow.
