Is anyone else feeling vaguely alarmed at how fast this year is going? Easter is a week away, and I just can’t wrap my head around it. Easter is one of my favourite holidays. I have to admit that I’m not religious, but I still love the feeling of new beginnings that is synonymous with Easter. To celebrate the coming of a new season, I’ve hosted a brunch on the Sunday of Easter weekend, and I love filling it with colour, florals, patterns, and all things bright and fun.
Of course, part of pulling the whole morning together is finding the perfect outfit. I keeping with everything that Easter is representative of, I try to find something pretty, fresh and pastel. We are still virtually in Summer in Australia, so it also needs to be something light and comfortable. I had bought this dress over Summer to wear to an event that never eventuated, but it’s everything I want in an Easter outfit. The print is so fun, the colours so happy, and the ruched detailing on the bodice just adds something a little bit special.
