Easter is my favourite celebration to host and prepare for. Even though we are technically now in autumn in Australia, the spring-inspired decor that we have come to associate with Easter adds such a dose of joy and cheerfulness.

D’Ascoli table cloth and napkins, Villeroy & Boch dinner plates and bread plates and bowls, blue water goblets, Laguiole cutlery, Heritage cake stand, serving platters and salad bowls, Vue wine glasses, Country Road vases
I had so much fun planning our lunch and putting together a beautiful tablescape- the only difficulty was sticking with one idea! Between delicately embroidered napkins, artfully patterned crockery and even joyfully coloured cutlery and glassware, I found so many pieces that I fell in love with.

I’m not a huge fan of bunny and egg motifs on my decor, so I try to choose colours and patterns (like florals) that are indicative of the season. When I found this table cloth that was perfect, not only for Easter but for any future long lunch celebrations, I planned everything, including our lunch menu, around that. I made a herb-roasted chicken, a spring green salad, a rainbow baby carrot salad, a burrata salad with homemade pesto, and a lemon and basil olive oil cake with blueberry compote for dessert.
Below, I’ve linked some of the pieces that I fell in love with on my hunt to put our Easter table together, to inspire your next event.
